Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) is a strong UVB absorber. It is an oil soluble, colorless, virtually odorless liquid,which remains a liquid at temperatures as low as -10℃ and can be easily incorporated in the oil phase of a sunscreen formulation. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) boosts the SPF when used in combination with other UV filters.

It is ideal for the formulation of water-resistant sunscreen products. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) is an excellent solubilizer for crystalline UV absorbers, such as Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate), Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) is approved world-wide in various concentrations.
