Characteristic
Colorless to yellowish liquid. Boiling point 249℃, relative density 1.032-1.036, refractive index 1.532-1.536, flash point 99℃, dissolved in 2 volumes of 70% ethanol and oil. It has a sweet aroma of lilac and fennel, like carnation, with a more transparent and lasting aroma and a mild and fragrant aroma like tea.
Application
It can be used as a lifting agent of clove aroma. It can produce mild deposits in floral or herbal or Oriental aromas. Can be used in a small amount of rose, carnation, ylang ylang, lilac, gardenia, hyacinth, alba, tuberose, Perilla, lavender, laurel rum, men's cologne and other fragrances, can also be used in food flavors, mainly as a spicy modification agent, to provide ginger flavor, tobacco flavor can also be used.
